The orange triangle with the lightning bolt comes on when the printer is plugged in. the white light above the power button is on, but the printer is otherwise dead. i haven't used the printer that often in the past year, and just replaced the original ink cartridges last week.. If you go into the canon website or the user guide you would have downloaded from the printer installation cd there is a troubleshooting section. 5 flashes on our old one (i560) indicated a printer head problem not sur eif yorus would be same.. Ah printers. while most of us need hard copy of materials, whether it’s a paper to turn in at school, a letter to mom or the latest artwork, we really haven’t achieved the so-called paperless society that was promised a decade ago as computers really began to become ubiquitous.. I haven't even had the printer a full year and haven't used it in about 30 days. it won't power on for use. there is an orange triange with what looks like a lightning bolt in the middle that is the only thing that is on..
